The GCC achieves Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification

The General Chiropractic Council is proud to have successfully achieved both Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification, demonstrating our sustained commitment to cyber security. 

Cyber Essentials is a Government approved business certification scheme specifically aimed at helping businesses become more secure against internet born threats.  Accreditation provides assurance to those who work with us that strict security measures are in place to provide protection against the most common cyber security threats. 

The GCC has achieved accreditation on the two levels of certification possible: Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus which required a hands-on technical verification to be carried out. 

Our CER Nick Jones said: ‘Cyber security is much more than a matter of IT but extends to greater workplace safety and ways to keep our and others personal data safe. I’m delighted the GCC has embedded cyber security in what we do in the provision of our services and in our work culture. We remain vigilant in acting against threats.'
